  6. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk
  7. Vendors and Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Grocery
  8. Manager For Windows package.
  9.

  19. Distribution Requirements:

  21. Please keep this archive under the name GMW109.ZIP.
  22.  
  23. Individuals who wish to distribute Grocery Manager for Windows
  24. to friends or associates may do so in accordance with the
  25. restrictions outlined in LICENSE.TXT.
  26.  
  27. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add Grocery Manager
  28. for Windows to their disk library may do so in accordance with
  29. the Distribution Restrictions listed below.
  30.  
  31. Limited Distribution License:
  32.  
  33. As the exclusive copyright holder for Grocery Manager for
  34. Windows, Absolute Value Software authorizes distribution only in
  35. accordance with the following restrictions.
  36.  
  37. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given
  38. permission to distribute Grocery Manager for Windows package.
  39. Non-ASP member vendors must request permission prior to
  40. distributing this package.
  41.  
  42. Grocery Manager for Windows is defined as containing all the
  43. material listed in the PACKING.TXT text file. If any files
  44. listed in the PACKING.TXT text file, or the PACKING.TXT file
  45. itself, are missing, then the package is not complete and
  46. distribution is forbidden. Please contact us to obtain a
  47. complete package suitable for distribution.

  49. Grocery Manager for Windows, including all related program files
  50. and documentation files, CANNOT be modified in any way and must
  51. be distributed as a complete package, without exception. The
  52. PACKING.TXT text file contains a list of all files that are part
  53. of Grocery Manager for Windows.
  54.  
  55. Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or
  56. installation batch files used by many Shareware disk vendors,
  57. are acceptable.
  58.  
  59. No price or other compensation may be charged for Grocery
  60. Manager for Windows. A distribution fee may be charged for the
  61. cost of the diskette, shipping and handling, as long as the
  62. total (per disk) does not exceed US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada,
  63. or US$12.00 internationally.
  64.  
  65. Disk Sets & CD-ROM's:
  66.  
  67. Grocery Manager for Windows CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  68. inclusive package, nor can it be included in any commercial
  69. software packaging offer, without a written agreement from
  70. Absolute Value Software.

  72. ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute Grocery Manager for
  73. Windows as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or
  74. a CD-ROM package) may do so provided that all the other
  75. restrictions are met.
  76.  
  77. Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute Grocery
  78. Manager for Windows as part of a collection (such as PsL's
  79. MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from
  80. Absolute Value Software prior to beginning such a distribution.

  82. If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other
  83. collection, please check the release date of the version you
  84. have. If the version is over six (6) months old then please
  85. contact us to ensure that you have the most current version.
  86.  
  87. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  89. If you would like to distribute Grocery Manager for Windows as a
  90. Disk-of-the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly
  91. service, then the following restrictions apply:

  93. ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby
  94. given permission to distribute Grocery Manager for Windows under
  95. the Disk-of-the-Month style of distribution.
  96.  
  97. Others (non-ASP Members) must contact us in advance to ensure
  98. that you have the most current version of the software.
  99.  
  100. You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your
  101. inventory of old (out of date) disks. Only current versions may
  102. be shipped as Disk-of-the-Month disks.
  103.  
  104. Grocery Manager for Windows cannot be "rented" or "leased" to
  105. others.
  106.  
  107. You may not list any of our products in advertisements,
  108. catalogs, or other literature which describes our products as
  109. "FREE SOFTWARE". Shareware is "Try Before You Buy" software, it
  110. is not free.
  111.  
  112. Absolute Value Software prohibits the distribution of outdated
  113. versions of Grocery Manager for Windows, without written
  114. permission from Absolute Value Software. If the version you have
  115. is over six (6) months old, please contact us to ensure that you
  116. have the most current version.
  117.  
  118. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  119. decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer
  120. the licensed program except as provided in this agreement. Any
  121. such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic
  122. termination of this license.

  124. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved to Absolute
  125. Value Software.
